Kelsey came to Silvacare in 2022 with 13 years of experience as a Forestry Technician and an Accredited Silvacultural Surveyor, and 2 years of experience as a GIS Technician for the BC Government. She brings a prominent understanding of operational forestry processes and mapping. Her experience with client relationships of local businesses and indigenous groups equips her with balance and flexibility when managing sensitive land use topics or particular requests. She brings a high level of attention to detail, proficiency in various mapping software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap (ver10), ArcGIS Online, QGIS and Global Mapper. Kelsey is also systematic in her project and data management techniques and she maintains an eager attitude to learn and achieve success with every project request.
At Silvacare she continues to develop skills in compiling and analyzing LiDAR data to provide Visual Quality Objective Assessments (VQA) and reports for forestry clients.
